Chemical Engineering
Gebze Technical University, Chemical Engineering Department was established in 2004 and provides education at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. The Department of Chemical Engineering has achieved significant international success with publications in the international citation indexes (SCI) journals through their research in the fields of Process and Reactor Design, Chemical Technologies, Thermodynamics and Basic Operations. Department of Chemical Engineering undergraduate program started in 2017.
The Master’s and Doctoral theses are based on theoretical and practical modeling while theses on industrial applications are also supported. With this support, students who work in private companies base their thesis studies on the solution of a problem in their companies.
