Mechanical Engineering
Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) of Gebze Technical University was founded in 2008 by combining the two existing departments, namely, Energy Systems Engineering, which was established in 1994 and Design & Manufacturing Engineering which was established in 2001.
ME Department currently offers graduate studies for MSc and PhD degrees in the major areas. ME department is located in the heart of the industrial region of Turkey and in close relationship with the industry. For this reason, it conducts extensive research to meet the industrial needs in addition to the graduate education.
