Science of Strategy

The content of strategy term, which has a military origin, is becoming more and more critical and complex in today's global world. Accordingly, GTU Department of Science of Strategy is built up by considering this complexity. The Department was established in 1999, in order to meet the demand for qualified human resources in the field of strategy.

The Science of Strategy Department aims to donate their students through master’s program with a strategic consciousness and approach towards all the factors that construct business and social life such as science, technology, organization and society. The discipline of strategy represents a multidisciplinary approach that highlights the strategy formulation process from a holistic perspective. In this context, students are encouraged to improve themselves with different basis and areas.

For ensuring the functionality of education, enabling specialization and better investigating the unique characteristics of the strategy formulation process in a holistic way; activities are conducted on three main fields of study:

• Management Strategies
• Science and Technology Strategies
• National Security Strategies
