DEPARTMENTAL FACILITIES

GTU Department of Earthquake and Structural Engineering is well equiped with state-of-the-art instrumentation in its spacious laboratories in which researches can be carried out mainly in Performance - Based Earthquake Resistant Design, Seismic Assessment of Structures, Earthquake Engineering, Seismic Performance of Steel Structures, Finite Element Method, Monitoring Buildings Based On GPS, Strong Ground Motion Analysis, Earthquake Early Warning System and Algorithms.

Social facilities in Çayırova Campus available to all the GTU students are two sports centers, an outdoor swimming pool, a tenis court, a football field, spacious reading rooms in brand-new library, a restaurant, canteens in various spots and a huge open-air field with a magnificant view for outdoor sports.
