DEPARTMENTAL FACILITIES
GTU architecture department has a computer laboratory, a computational design and production laboratory, and a building materials laboratory for the use of undergraduate and graduate students. The computer laboratory is 77 m2 and has 44 desktop computer. In computational design and production laboratory (fabrication lab), there is one laser cutting machine, one 3D printer, one desktop computer with access to internet, and one plotter in-service to students for their project design classes. In building materials laboratory, experiments could be made with various materials like concrete, reinforcement steel, concrete curb units, concrete paving blocks, aggregate, cement, brick, tile, gas concrete etc.
In addition to all of these, students could use 2 multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor pool, tennis court, football ground, studying areas in the new library, dining hall, cafeterias in various points, and open areas with a unique nature.
