For Turkish Students 

Bachelor's degree from engineering or science / basic sciences / educational sciences of universities 

Obtain an acceptable score on the graduate entrance exam (ALES). The required minimum score is specified in the announcement of the relevant period. 

To be successful in one of the UDS, KPDS, YDS, YÖKDİL and TOEFL IBT English language exams. The required minimum score is specified in the announcement of the relevant period. 

Applications are evaluated by the Earth and Marine Sciences Department on the basis of the conditions stated in the GTU Graduate Education Regulations Senate Principles. 

For International Degree-Students 

Students who will apply to master's programs are subject to the Admission and Registration Requirements for Turkish Students. It is evaluated by the Earth and Marine Sciences Department on the basis of the conditions stated in the GTU Postgraduate Education Regulations and Senate Principles.  

For Exchange Students 

Student must be a full-time student at their home university. An Interinstitutional Agreement/Protocol must exist between student’s home university and Gebze Technical University. The home university must officially nominate student as an exchange student, and send their application documents to GTU External Relations Office. Student's own university sends the application documents to the GTU Foreign Relations Office. Applications are evaluated by the Department of Earth and Marine Sciences and the Foreign Relations Office, based on the conditions stated in the GTU Postgraduate Education Regulations Senate Principles.
