Purpose of the course: The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of mining surveying, to convey information about geodetic surveying and calculation methods for obtaining location and height information in underground surveys.

Week 3: Working conditions underground.
Week 4: Geodetic equipment used in underground surveys.
Week 5: Marking geodetic points, measuring lengths and angles.
Week 6: Underground polygons and calculation.
Week 7: Detail measurements underground
Week 8: Underground application, Midterm exam
Week 9: Underground orientation and applied methods.
Week 10: Underground orientation and applied methods.
Week 11: Geometric leveling underground.
Week 12: Trigonometric leveling underground.
Week 13: Modern geodetic equipment and methods in underground surveying.
Week 14: Modern geodetic solutions for underground position and height determination.
